CRCR is a Long Term Acute Care unit that was created from one floor of the Virginia Baptist Hospital. Licensing of Long Term Acute Care requires that the unit have a completely different character and ambiance from the rest of the hospital. While the Baptist Hospital is known for its traditional architecture and furnishings, this unit was designed with cool colors and a contemporary design more reminiscent of a spa than a healthcare facility.
